Managing your call forwarding whilst on holiday…

The summer holiday season is almost upon us, children are looking forward to the long holiday away from school, whilst parents are probably more looking forward to September…

If you are a small business, start-up or sole trader you may need to give some thought as to how you want your calls handled when you go on holiday.

Telephone numbers from Tamar Telecommunications have a very useful free feature called ‘Holiday Settings’.

So if you want your call forwarding to forward calls differently whilst you are away, perhaps to a colleague, call answering service, voicemail or similar – just let us know the details and the dates that you will be away.

Once setup, your holiday call forwarding settings will automatically start and then revert back to the normal settings, when your holiday dates have finished.

The holiday settings can also have call forwarding setup in advance for bank holidays and Christmas holiday shutdowns.
