Tamar Telecommunications Move to Tamar Science Park

Over the weekend of the 26th and 27th January 2013, Tamar Telecommunications moved to their new prestigious offices at Plymouth’s Tamar Science Park.

Tamar Telecommunications provides a range of business telecom products and innovative support services, which are designed and managed by their own in-house team of technical engineers.

The business has been operating in Plymouth for more than 10 years, with a customer base ranging from small businesses and local councils to national charities and large corporate companies employing thousands of staff around the world.

Kevin Christoforou, Managing Director of Tamar Telecommunications said: “In 2012 we celebrated ten years of Tamar Telecommunications. 2013 is set to be another landmark year for us, as we settle into our new offices at Tamar Science Park. After looking at several sites in the Plymouth area, we chose Tamar Science Park for our new head office. We are looking to triple our workforce over the next two years. Tamar Science Park provides excellent facilities and surroundings in which we can achieve this.”

Tamar Science Park provides a complete business environment for its clients, with a broad range of business support services on offer as well as high quality office accommodation and resources.

More than 80 businesses in total are now based at Tamar Science Park, employing around 650 people and turning over £95m.
