Customers can now configure email addresses to be notified when they miss a call – with the new free missed call alerts service.
Tamar Telecommunications’ free missed call alert service notifies you when someone calls your virtual number but doesn’t get through – whether the call was missed, the line was busy, or there was a fault with the landline or mobile it was diverted to.
The alert includes the number called along with the callers number, provided that it wasn’t withheld.
The alerts can be sent to one or more email address as soon as the missed call ends.
This means that should you be engaged on the phone and unaware that someone tried to call; you could then be able to return the call and avoid missing a new enquiry!
If you have voicemail on your Tamar Telecom number and the caller hears your voicemail greeting but then hangs up before leaving a message. An alert would be sent via email to you, the email would include the number the caller dialled along with the callers number, provided that the caller didn’t withhold their number. The alert can be turned off within the voicemail box settings, if not required.
The Tamar Control panel app allows you to view missed calls, litest to voicemail messages and manage your settings 24×7 – Available on Android and iPhone.
